EVENTOMETER (eventometer.com) is an independently operated event directory and travel-concierge site. This policy explains what happens when you visit.

The short version

There is no user account system on this site, no sign-up, and no first-party form that collects your name, email, or payment details. We don't sell or share personal data, because we don't collect any beyond standard, aggregate site-usage analytics.

What we collect

Site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic (which pages are visited, roughly how many people, and page performance/load times). This is first-party, does not use tracking cookies, and does not build an individual profile of you across other websites.

Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard technical request data (IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp) for security and reliability purposes. We don't separately access or repurpose this data for marketing.

Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), which involves your browser making a request to Google's servers to fetch font files.

Affiliate links & third-party sites

Every event's "Event Concierge" panel links out to third-party providers for tickets, flights, hotels, eSIM data plans, ground transport, and travel insurance. Some of these links are affiliate links: if you make a qualifying booking after clicking through, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Once you click through to a partner site (a ticketing platform, an airline, a hotel booking site, an eSIM provider, and so on), you are on that company's own website, subject to their own privacy policy and their own cookies/tracking — not ours. We have no control over, and no visibility into, what any third-party site does with your data once you've left eventometer.com. We encourage you to review each partner's privacy policy before booking.

Cookies

This site does not set its own first-party tracking or advertising cookies. Any cookies you encounter while using the site will come from an embedded third-party service (for example, the CARTO/OpenStreetMap map tiles used in the 3D Globe view) or from a partner site you've clicked through to.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Your rights

Because we don't operate accounts or store personal data ourselves, there is generally nothing of yours for us to access, correct, or delete on request. If you believe otherwise, or have any question about this policy, contact us at legal@eventometer.com.
